Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

The Antichrist has arrived on earth. Armageddon is nigh. There’s just one little mix up… They send him to the wrong family. Aziraphale and Crowley are enemies, of course they are, after all one is an angel the other a demon. In another sense though they are good friends, and both have become very fond of the earth. When it becomes clear that the child they thought would be the Antichrist is actually just a human child Aziraphale and Crowley try to find the actual Destroyer of Worlds before he can do just that. Meanwhile, Adam Young has grown up completely human with a group of friends in a town that he loves. But nothing can change his true nature, can it? When he meets Anathema Device, an occultist guided by the scary accurate prophecies of her ancestor, Agnes Nutter, Adam begins to learn things about ley lines, environmentalism, and conspiracy theories. And things begin to happen…
I love this book, it’s one of my go to good reread books. These two work well together and I wish they had gotten to work together more. It’s one of those books that I always keep two copies of because if I loan it to someone the odds are I wont get it back.
