Fantasy, Short Stories

The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski

My youngest son sent me this book for Christmas. It’s about a hero (a witcher) whose job it is to kill monsters and get paid by grateful towns or individuals. It’s not as easy as it sounds–ha ha. It was a series of short stories that went back and forth in time, which made it confusing at times. It was okay, but not the best written novel. The writer is supposedly a best-selling author in Poland. I’m glad I read it so I can discuss it with my son, but I won’t read any further installments in the series.
