The One Memory of Flora Banks by Emily Barr

Flora is 17 and lost her short-term memory 7 years ago due to brain surgery. Since then, her parents have been taking loving care of her, or have they? What starts out as a seeming teen-romance with a twist soon turns into a psychological whodunit. While some of the plot twists stretch credulity and the metaphors are pretty heavy handed at times, it was definitely a propulsive read with relatability for anyone who struggles to reach beyond their limitations.
