Okay first off I love this book and I love it’s author! I’ve been reading Andy Weir’s stuff since his Webcomic way back when. He has an amazing combination of real science, snarky characters, and complicated plots that just make the best sci-fi stories.
Jasmine, or Jazz, is a part time smuggler part time delivery girl in the moon city Artemis. She needs money but when her suit springs a leak during her test to join the EVA guild she loses her best chance to earn money quickly. At least until she gets offered 1,000,000 by Trond (one of her best customers.) But it will mean upgrading from smuggling to grand sabotage and vandalism. She goes for it, but not everything goes according to plan, and it turns out the people she’s going up against are mobbed up to the ears. Jazz finds herself way over her head and realizes that the only way to save herself, may be to save Artemis.
I love this book so much, it’s one of the few I will buy in an instant next time I get a chance!
